The sculptural nature of objects that have been fashioned from books have a poignancy way beyond their form... I've been thinking about this a bit lately trying to fathom why these sculptures, like my arts piece from My Handmade Heart and the handmade paper lampshades above by Margarita & Ludwig, command a... is it a reverence? or perhaps simply an appreciation that there is a depth and content way beyond the shape in which we now see them?
